Q: Is CSDUELS free? Do I need an account?

A: Yes, CSDUELS is free to use. You are able to invite friends to a free game in 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 aim battles or wingman duels, all without purchasing anything. As a free user, you can create up to 15 games per month. You do have the option to purchase premium which unlocks additional features, such as extra matchmaking settings.

You don't need to create an account to play. Instead, you can directly login with Steam to play. No extra downloads are necessary in order to queue or play at this moment.

Q: Is there matchmaking? How will I find opponents?

A: CSDUELS will not have matchmaking per se, but an option to set your match public is in the works. Currently (during beta) you are only able to start a game by inviting friends to your party.

Q: What maps are played in 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 game modes?

A: Community created wingman maps will be used in deciding CSDUELS Wingman games, and community created aim maps are used to play out CSDUELS Aim Duels. We do plan to hold contests in the future to choose new, original maps for our duel modes that will be exclusive to CSDUELS.
